See where each number comes from, what it can tell you, and what still needs evidence. Values are estimates for comparing trades, not promises about what another player will accept.

Where every number comes from
Elvebredd and AMVGG each have their own tab and scale. Some items on the Elvebredd reference scale come from WFL or other cited sources; their labels identify that source. Some AMVGG variants use its calculator rules rather than a separately published price. The JaeJae tab applies our explained calculation to this evidence. It does not replace the numbers stored for either original list.
Refreshes check for updated source data. A successful check does not mean every price changed, and a failed check must not make old data look fresh. Our JaeJae estimate pauses when its verified dataset is more than 48 hours old. Charts use recorded observations; those observations are value-list estimates, not proof that a trade happened at that price.
Why the numbers can differ
Different lists can judge the same pet differently. They may also use different scales, pet variants, comparison groups, and update times. Compare the exact same Regular, Neon, or Mega pet with the same potions. A higher number does not prove a better estimate. Our calculation is not independently proven more accurate than another service.
Choose your source in Settings or the calculator. An unsupported JaeJae value stays pending; an unpriced pet is never a free pet. Check the source evidence before relying on a close trade.

Two value lists. One traceable estimate. Here is how we turn their different numbers into a JaeJae value you can inspect.
These are trading estimates, not official prices or confirmed sales.
Follow the calculation
1. Match the exact pet
We read Elvebredd and AMVGG for the same pet, Regular/Neon/Mega form and potions. A plain pet is never swapped for a Neon or Fly-Ride price. Some AMVGG variants come from its calculator rules; the example below tells you when that happens.
2. Put both lists on one scale
The raw numbers use different units, so adding them together would be misleading. We use one shared conversion rate for the entire catalog. Each eligible pet contributes one Elvebredd-to-AMVGG ratio for its regular Fly-Ride form. We take the median across all rarities and apply that same rate to every pet, form, potion combination and item.
3. Meet exactly in the middle
Both sources get 50% weight. We add the Elvebredd number to the translated AMVGG number, divide by two, and keep full precision for calculations. Only displayed labels are rounded. This is exactly halfway between the two comparable numbers. If conversion is too uncertain, an available Elvebredd price remains a labelled reference estimate. When both comparable prices are available, we show their midpoint even when they differ widely.
Conversion factor = median of (Elvebredd ÷ AMVGG) for all eligible regular Fly-Ride pets, one observation per pet, including the selected pet when eligible.
Converted AMVGG = AMVGG × conversion factor.
JaeJae = (Elvebredd + converted AMVGG) ÷ 2. Totals use unrounded values.
The midpoint applies when both usable sources pass the checks below. A single-source estimate is labelled separately.

Why a number may stay pending
A translated AMVGG value needs at least 12 eligible regular Fly-Ride pets. When only Elvebredd covers the exact variant, its number can serve as a labelled single-source estimate. For an AMVGG-only estimate, we pause when the middle half of shared calibration ratios spans more than 1.6 times. Disagreement between two available, comparable prices does not hide their midpoint. All estimates pause when our dataset is over 48 hours old. The conversion does not change by rarity or variant. If both complete source totals show a loss, their shared-scale midpoint cannot show a win; the same applies in reverse. Single-source estimates are not two-source consensus.
These are initial testing limits, not proven guarantees of accuracy. A missing estimate is not a zero-value pet. We still need to test the results against independent, completed trades.
Where your votes fit
Votes currently have 0% weight in this midpoint. A whole-trade vote says how an offer feels, but cannot tell us the price of every pet inside it. Our existing early-estimate tools use separate voting rules. Before votes influence this number, we need enough recent evidence and checks against repeated or coordinated voting.
Help by rating real tradesWhat community feedback means today
Signed-in players can rate shared trades and give pet-price feedback. Account-based vote limits reduce repeated voting, but do not prove that every opinion is independent or correct. Community Pulse counts activity such as posted trades and backpacks holding a pet; activity is not a sale price.
Community weight in the JaeJae calculator: 0%. Votes and activity counts do not move the midpoint. The separate early-estimate feature may show a labelled community reading for pets without a published price. That reading is not the same as the JaeJae calculator value.
The separate early-vote equation
For an unpriced pet with an existing estimate, the vote-only community reading needs at least 8 votes. Let V be all votes, M be “worth more” votes, and L be “worth less” votes:
push = ((M − L) ÷ V) × min(1, V ÷ 40)
The reading moves from the starting estimate toward its upper bound when push is positive, or its lower bound when negative. We multiply that distance by push, add it to the starting estimate, round to three significant figures, and keep it inside the original bounds. “Spot on” votes count in V but add no directional push. A unanimous 40-vote tally can reach a bound. This is a separate community reading, never the JaeJae midpoint or a confirmed sale price.
That separate feature prefers a trade-based reading when it has at least 4 qualifying distinct trading pairs and 5 distinct participants. It takes the median of their implied values, rounds it, and keeps it within the original estimate bounds. These are self-reported completed trades on our board, not independently verified in-game trades. Otherwise it falls back to the vote equation, or the original estimate when there are fewer than 8 votes. Its displayed explanation identifies the evidence used.
Who can vote, and what protects the tally?
Writing a vote requires a Roblox sign-in. Each account has one active pet vote per source and phase, or one active vote per shared trade; voting again can change or remove it. Players cannot rate their own shared trade. Regular accounts have burst limits and daily limits of 60 pet-vote actions and 80 shared reaction/trade-vote actions. Owner admin accounts have a testing exemption.
These controls limit repeated actions, but they do not prove that different accounts belong to independent people or stop every coordinated group. That is one reason votes do not move the public midpoint.
Before votes help set a value
Our current commitment is a 50/50 midpoint of the two comparable source numbers. Community feedback can help us investigate a wrong variant, a stale source, or a number that needs review without silently moving that midpoint. Rating a whole trade cannot tell us the price of every pet inside it.
No future voting weight or minimum evidence threshold for changing the main value has been approved. Before any such change, we will publish the proposed equation, weight, required recent evidence, checks for coordinated accounts, and how to switch back. It must be tested separately first and clearly distinguished from the current midpoint.
